Connect your AI (MCP)
Plug Disputely into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP client.
Disputely ships a hosted MCP server, so you can use your dispute data from any AI assistant — no code, nothing to install:
https://api.disputely.com/mcpConnect it once with your API key, then just ask things like:
- "Any dispute alerts that need my attention today?"
- "Show me the details of that $47.97 alert."
- "I refunded that customer — mark the alert resolved."
- "Have any banks asked about my charges this week?"
What the AI can do
| Tool | What it does | Needs permission |
|---|---|---|
list_alerts | List dispute alerts (filter, paginate). | alerts:read |
get_alert | Fetch one alert by id. | alerts:read |
resolve_alert | Mark an alert resolved after you issued the refund. | alerts:write |
list_lookups | List bank inquiries about your charges. | resolve_lookups:read |
The server is a thin layer over the regular API: it authenticates with your
normal dspm_live_ key, sees only your account, and respects the key's
permissions exactly. Want a read-only assistant? Connect a key without
alerts:write — the AI then physically cannot resolve anything.
Treat the connection like any other place your API key lives: use a dedicated key labeled for the AI client, so you can revoke it independently.
Setup
First create an API key in Settings → API (dashboard), then add the server to your client:
Add to .cursor/mcp.json (project) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (global):
{
"mcpServers": {
"disputely": {
"url": "https://api.disputely.com/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer dspm_live_YOUR_KEY"
}
}
}
}That's it — start a new conversation and ask about your alerts.
Safety notes
- Resolving is deliberate. The
resolve_alerttool description instructs the AI to confirm you actually issued the refund before calling it, and retries are idempotent — the same resolve can't apply twice. - Scoped to one account. The key is bound to your account; the AI can never see another merchant's data, same as the raw API.
- Revoke anytime. Delete the key in Settings → API and the connection is dead instantly.
